What I Offer

Counselling

Counselling can provide you with the unique opportunity to reflect on issues which may be challenging, confusing or distressing, in an environment which is removed from your normal everyday circumstances.

Sometimes, all we know is that we feel a certain way… maybe tearful, lacking in energy, confused, in pain, burdened, overwhelmed or lost.

I work with individuals over the age of 18, from all walks of life, who are particularly facing things such as:

  • Grief and loss

  • Pregnancy and transition to motherhood

  • Birth experiences

  • Miscarriage / baby loss

  • Abortion

  • The impact of trauma

  • Childhood abuse

  • Life events and transitions

  • Health issues or illness

  • Low confidence and self-esteem

  • The impact of abusive relationships

  • Anxiety

I aim to create and foster an accepting, calm and non-judgmental space, where we work together at your speed, and to your needs, to help you make sense of thoughts, feelings, emotions and experiences, and to find new ways forward.

I offer sessions both face to face in Eynsham, and online.

When we can talk

about our feelings,

they become less

overwhelming, less

upsetting and less scary.

  • “I feel more in control and more aware of my feelings. It was lovely to feel like I had someone who didn't judge me when I needed to talk about things.”

  • “Susie is gentle and calm, has a sense of humour, clearly cares about people, is always on time, reliable, knowledgeable. There is no feeling of judgement.”

  • “Susie is a lovely, friendly and gentle counsellor who made me feel at ease. She validated what I was feeling and encouraged me to find solutions.”

  • “Counselling gave me a safe, structured place to work through issues during a chaotic, unsettled period - thank you!”
